Luella Scott Memorial Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY
Applicant must be a graduating African-American female high school senior with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale)
Requirements:
* A completed electronic application
*A high resolution headshot
*A media release
INSTRUCTIONS
The following must be received by February 28, 2026:
*An official transcript
*Two (2) signed letters of recommendation These must be on official letterhead with a physical signature.
*One letter must be from a school official and the other must be from a community leader.
The following shall be grounds for losing the scholarship:
*A college GPA below 3.0 during the academic year
*Failure to maintain full-time status during the academic year
* Violation of institution's Code of Conduct
*Violation of any local, state, and/or federal law(s)
*Pregnancy without marriage
Note: This is a ONE-TIME scholarship paid in two equal payments of one per semester.
